It’s the Internet’s Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) which provides the basis of many web pages. Most notable, both have been adapted to handle highly-traffic web sites and fast, flexible content delivery rate – leading to the well known web based email and knowledge base services respectively.
The world wide web has been successfully made use of through the Internet by many companies, organizations and individuals. Major companies like Microsoft, Google, AOL and Yahoo! have used the technology for a variety of purposes; however, in this article we’ll focus on how the Internet has been used for communication by organizations.
One of the most common forms of Internet communication happens through internet access. It can be used for voice and video transmissions, as well as for sharing pictures and text. Social media is another popular way of disseminating information. With the rise of social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter, the use of the internet has greatly expanded beyond what it was before. These websites enable users to share photographs and videos, articles, text, graphics, etc. Another great example of a website that allows users to communicate and network is the dark web. This portion of the World Wide Web is not visible to search engines, which is what makes it so unique – in fact, it allows users to share hidden content. Dark web websites can include things like a chat server, an instant messaging system, message boards, online games, a file sharing system, a photo album, a mini social network, a gaming platform, and many others.
The internet is widely used for telecommunication as well. One good example is T1 lines, which are telephone lines that are primarily used for phone calls. These lines are generally CDMA ( Code Division Multiple Access), which means they are able to transmit data more quickly and more accurately than other kinds of lines. Internet also plays a huge role in the world wide web. In order to browse the Internet, you do not even need your own computer, as you can simply log onto a website, type in your username and password, and access the website you want to visit.
